Dyslexia and dyscalculia program
The certification as a dyslexia trainer and the follow-up course as a dyscalculia trainer at ADA can only be highly recommended! The module books are very well organized, the structure of the program is very well planned and thought through. The required practice provides a first look into working life. For questions you can contact ADA at any time and get a thorough answer fairly quickly. The test questions are not too hard and not too easy — just right for checking the knowledge you've acquired. I'd take a small point off only because you do have to obtain some required reading separately.
Very satisfied!
Through self-paced learning I could work through the scripts whenever it was possible — which was a big help in my professional everyday life. Also, depending on prior knowledge and background, certain parts can be worked through more intensively with the accompanying literature. Questions were always answered very quickly (I used email). Shadowing other trainers helped me personally a lot — I'd recommend any graduate to take advantage of this option.
A truly recommendable program!
I successfully completed this program during my parental leave and have to say I'm really pleased. There was always someone to answer my questions, and the structure is clearly laid out.
Highly recommendable. I came as a stranger and left as a friend!
This is the first review I've sent in, even though I completed the dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer distance course quite a while ago. The courses are well founded and allow a smooth entry into practice. Materials, which are central to successful support, aren't just generously made available but are constantly updated. The course is versatile and serves the needs of international participants in an exemplary way. Programs in German and English are used almost daily with very good results. ADA's programs are recommended without reservation!
Very good support
I've been on board for many years and I'm still very satisfied with the offering. Many thanks for the enormous dedication and for always being up to date in supporting children and adults with dyslexia and/or dyscalculia. Warm regards, Silvia Klimm
highly recommended!
Clearly structured and organized. Very good material and super service. Above all: material and support for the time afterwards!
Top training
as a certified dyscalculia trainer at ADA. Well-thought-out materials, book recommendations, support, and practical work. Fully satisfied. The AFS test is better than psychological tests since the intelligence factor is left out. Once a year there's a super symposium in Salzburg with fascinating lectures.
Good service, extensively equipped learning material
I'm currently completing my third distance course with this institution, alongside full-time work in my practice, and I'm completely thrilled. The working material is motivating to learn from and is well and easily understandably written. I've also completed various online continuing education courses for certified dyslexia and dyscalculia trainers and can only recommend this institution. When things were unclear, all my queries were answered quickly and reliably. Good service!
flexible scheduling
Thanks to the flexible scheduling, the distance course really was easy to fit into a stressful working day. With the thorough instructions (and of course a willingness to learn), the learning content was easy to understand. The dyslexia training is definitely implementable in practice.
DYSLEXIATRAINER
very good study materials and support, AFS test and learning materials very good
Dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer distance course
From the very beginning of the course I can only report positive things. The support is brilliant, and you get help whether by phone or email. The learning materials are formulated understandably so you can put them into practice well. There's always news and the flow of information is excellent. I'm glad to have made this choice, since it combines well with my professional field. Many thanks for the great support!
Good and fast guidance in the distance course with the option to earn more certificates
While completing my online distance course I was thrilled by the speed with which my queries, my submissions for individual modules, and other matters were processed. As someone working (more than) full time (self-employed), it was important for me to learn at my own pace and, depending on workload, to complete a module quickly sometimes and then more slowly other times. The payment processes (shop purchases, paying course fees) also ran smoothly. I was always happy to get personal feedback on the modules I'd completed. An additional bonus for me is the option, after actually completing the course, to book a subscription that — among other things — gives me ongoing continuing education opportunities. These run just as smoothly, in that I work through specialist knowledge on a topic at my own pace and then take an online exam by answering questions. The evaluation happens immediately and you also get a certificate right away (online). For years now I've been using the option of completing certified continuing education, with a broad selection, not just on dyslexia but extending into neuropsychology (for example biofeedback and neurofeedback, or specific topics from parenting counseling). Since I have to document training and continuing education, this is a cost-effective option and I've never had problems with the recognition of these courses. For me this is a real gain, and on top of that I can still use the advantages of the web offerings, such as having my clients take the AFS test on the computer, which is also evaluated immediately.
Well-founded program with very good scripts
The scripts are very well developed and the self-study is therefore very doable. For various questions, the fast answers from the supporting team are really a great help! I was thrilled that the latest scientifically respected research is described — and that's true for all three distance programs! A truly recommendable course that offers a great opportunity for an interesting self-employed activity.
highly recommended
Highly recommended distance course. There are numerous practice materials for practical work and inquiries are answered promptly. In content, all 3 distance courses are top. The continuing education offerings are top-notch too.
Best foundation for practical work
With flexible scheduling the program is doable alongside a job, and through comprehensive, well-designed learning materials it conveys theoretical and practice-related knowledge that's the best foundation for the practical work.
comprehensive and open
Despite rough headwinds in Austria's support landscape — including some hostility toward the AFS method — I would do this distance course again today. Every person is unique in every respect, so I welcome the comprehensive and open AFS method and the approach that every person has different abilities and skills. In that sense: there would be no disabilities or disorders if our social systems (with their fixation on norms and faults) would open themselves to human diversity.
Worry-free total package
I've been using ADA's service for 9 years and am consistently satisfied. ADA and its website offer a worry-free total package: I use the test procedure and training options regularly, and I've also had my personal materials like business cards and stamps made through the center. Technical issues are addressed quickly. Especially great are the options for remote support with individual trainings. Customer service is very good, you get answers fast. With ADA's help I've already been able to help many children. The distance course was also very well supported — you got a personal contact and lots of help in the forum — and judging by the website it has improved further since I graduated. All in all you can say ADA and its offerings are truly top-notch!
Review
I'm very satisfied with the training, the collaboration, and the support offerings. Thanks for that! 🙂
