In the course of these two follow-up programs, it really is possible to earn both qualifications alongside work and family. Every graduate should be clear, though, that a time-intensive practical part is part of the deal!
I'm completely convinced and thrilled by this program! The required reading is clear and contains lots of interesting theoretical information plus helpful suggestions for practice. The program is enjoyable and very motivating, because the requirements are clearly stated and you immediately get feedback — for example whether you passed a module or what your payment status is. I also really like the worksheets and games provided for the kids you're training. An absolute highlight for me was the annual professional conference in Salzburg, where students and graduates are invited. It was a pleasure to meet my study mentor Dr. Astrid Kopp-Duller in person and to hear her talk along with talks by other top-class speakers on dyslexia and dyscalculia. Outside at the stands, specialist books and new learning materials were on offer. Great stuff and of course I bought some and took it home. I'm already looking forward to the 2018 conference too! Like the first program, highly recommended. It really helps teachers, parents, and any other therapists. I always got very competent advice, no matter how many questions I asked. I felt very well looked after at all times. Thank you again for the wonderful support!!!!
I finished both courses within a year. The teaching material prepared me excellently for the exams, which were therefore also easy to pass. The two practical parts, however, were quite demanding — and that's a good thing. It really gives you the feeling that you have to put in real work to earn the diploma. Questions could always be asked by email, but for the practical part especially I would have wished for a bit more interaction and exchange with other learners. A webinar where I could interact with others or learn new things would have been very welcome. Who knows, maybe that will be considered at some point — it would suit a distance program well. ;-) I'd also like to highlight the positive: access to the AFS test, the support materials, and the distance-learning resources. I was very pleased with the program. The content of the modules was very interesting and really helped me in my work at a special-needs school. Contact with the staff was also very friendly.
I completed both subjects together successfully. Of course you have to make time for it — but that's why you sign up in the first place. And honestly, it's all doable! There's a lot of new information that's truly exciting. It was a real joy, and whenever you need help, you get it. Top!
In August 2017 I received my diploma as an ADA dyslexia trainer. I can only recommend this program to everyone who works with school-age kids professionally or privately. Thanks to the very well-built learning material, I was able to understand my first-grader better and better, and support him accordingly. ... Even though dyslexia is a hotly debated topic, I'd like to help many more students keep their love of school.

I found the program very interesting and well structured. I'm glad I decided to do it. Especially for my job as a teacher, dyslexia and dyscalculia are constant companions and it's wonderful that I now know more about them and how to handle them. I can really only recommend this program!
Materials for self-study are good and thorough. Support was outstanding. Quick answers to questions, always help with any problem. Reasonable time frame, the structure of the program is genius, the required reading is a great addition. For my current work I keep applying the training methods with success. The training was fun. I feel very confident in the training I do with my kids thanks to the course (in the sense of: I'm doing the right thing). Training materials are good and seemingly endless. Brilliant!

The certified dyslexia trainer program is a very interesting and insightful course. The materials are very well structured and practice-oriented. If you have any questions — about the content of the materials or about practical application — you can call ADA anytime. You get personal, very competent, and friendly help.
I did the dyslexia certificate program and I'm super happy with it. Top advice, always a sympathetic ear, fast help, up-to-date reading material — simply wonderful. I can absolutely recommend it to everyone!!!
It took me a long time to find a task that truly makes me happy, and with this training my life has also changed. Helping children and adults is simply wonderful. The team's support during my studies was great. Everyone was there for me and answered my questions down to the last detail. I've never had such kind and attentive supervisors. The dyslexia program was very interesting and, even though there were challenges, a lot of fun. I could always turn to the ADA team via chat and they always gave me the help I needed. The materials and books for further reading were very informative and easy to understand, so I could put them to use very well in practical work. Now I'm following up with the dyscalculia program and am looking forward to staying in touch with the team!

For the solid training thanks to which I've been successfully helping children with dyslexia for 13 years; for the great materials you keep developing; for the rich professional development day recently in Salzburg (also on behalf of my daughter, who is currently doing the program); and of course for the new distance learning support, which I've tried out several times to the great delight of the kids and their parents. The program was a lot of fun, I could learn at my own pace, work through the modules, and train students for the practical part. The one question I asked was answered quickly and to my satisfaction; no more came up, because the materials and the website are so well built.
