I can warmly recommend this program. I've been working as a self-employed dyslexia trainer for five years and have been able to support many children and parents. The training is also very helpful in my main role at a focus-area school and sharpens my eye during initial assessments. :)
I successfully completed the dyslexia program and can apply the knowledge I gained through the ADA very well in my practical work — both with adult functional illiterates and with children affected by dyslexia or reading/spelling difficulties. I really appreciate that after the program, graduates are offered continuing education and active exchange. Information about new developments in the field is of course passed on. The certification as a certified dyslexia trainer was absolutely worth it for me, and I can only recommend it. The study materials are well structured, and the support during the course is uncomplicated, prompt, and competent. In my work as a speech therapist, I now have a broader view of the individual perceptual areas, can train more precisely, and have an excellent assessment tool in the AFS test that helps me distinguish when speech therapy is appropriate and when dyslexia training is. Because it's an open method that leaves room for individual judgment, it's — in my view — a genuinely fascinating and rewarding task to complete this course and then work as a dyslexia trainer.

I found the materials and the support on the homepage — as well as the help from all the staff — outstanding. I was able to do the whole program independently. It was a very pleasant path for me to take alongside my full-time job. I wish the association continued success.

Throughout the program I felt well looked-after and well informed. On the one hand there was lots of written information, and on top of that I always got a friendly, individual answer to specific questions.

I really valued this program because I could use targeted material from the resources while also creating and using new, individualized worksheets. My clientele ranged broadly — from a one-year-old to a first-grader. With that range, designing the worksheets is crucial to spark interest.
This program — just like the dyslexia one — is in my opinion the best and best-supported. The study materials are clear and very well structured; questions get detailed, friendly answers by email right away; the price-to-value ratio is right; and the study window is very generous. The dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer program was very well organized; questions were always answered directly. The study materials were comprehensive but not overwhelming. Thanks to the flexible scheduling, it was doable alongside another job. Highly recommended overall!
I find the training materials excellent. I learned everything I need for practice. The support from the association was outstanding too.
I completed the dyslexia trainer program in six months and then had to wait another two months (the minimum study duration) before I could hold my diploma. The content was very interesting and clearly prepared, and even though I'm in the field professionally, there was always something new for me to learn and discover. Questions were answered within a few days, sometimes even the same day. The knowledge I gained from this program is a huge support in everyday life with people with dyslexia. The course gave me a lot of joy, and I happily recommend it. You should be aware up front, though, that especially the practical part takes a fairly substantial time investment — but it's absolutely worth the effort.
The study materials are very detailed and well structured. During the program, someone is always reachable when you have questions. Even after the program a contact person is always available for questions or suggestions. I was and am very happy with my choice.
