Review
I'm very satisfied with the dyslexia trainer program — the materials gave me enough theory and lots of practical inspiration. The online offerings also provide good options for finding answers or someone to talk to. A regular info brochure or similar publication with changing thematic focuses would be nice, but that's just my personal wish.
Thank you for your feedback!

Dyscalculia trainer program
A few years ago I was simply assigned an hour of math support for a dyscalculic student. I'd been a teacher for many years, but I didn't know much about dyscalculia — I hadn't picked up much about it during my university studies either. After one or two support sessions I went online to inform myself and look for a continuing-education option. That's when I came across this program. A short conversation with my boss — since I was now going to invest money and time and didn't want to only support for one hour per week — and he agreed to give me main-subject hours, i.e. 4 to 6 hours per week. Said and done, I signed up, and the program was quite manageable alongside job and family life! The practical part was also fairly easy for me as a teacher, because I had plenty of students available. Only writing up the practical part dragged on — I kept pushing it off, because after almost 20 years as a teacher I was out of practice with written reflections on lessons. But once I got going, that went quickly too. The forum was very useful during the program; you got fast answers to questions. Even now the forum is still a help, even though I don't hang around there as often. Overall the program brought me a lot. At school I'm now the one who gets called in for problematic students. I've reserved one hour per week just for assessments, and we'll likely keep it that way. In the meantime, a colleague has also completed the program for reading/spelling difficulties, and our school leadership likes to advertise that the two of us are there for these issues. For some parents that's a major decision-making aid in considering their child's school path. I'd do this program again in a heartbeat!
From hobby to career
I did the training for my children :-)
Excellent in execution and knowledge transfer!
The certified dyslexia trainer program from the ADA was a great experience. From the start I was well looked after and always had a contact person by email. The materials for the program were well prepared and informative. The individual module tests were manageable once I'd worked through the content. Even in the practical module, the Club always offered a way to ask someone. Through this program I gained deep knowledge in the area of dyslexia and built a foundation for my current work as a learning therapist.
Fast delivery
I'm delighted to help the children further with the new materials!
Excellent
A comprehensive program, helpful forum, great learning and usage material — an excellent organization. From the first to the last step during the course, and still well supported afterward — that's what the ADA stands for.
Solid, well-founded training
I did the certified dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer training through the ADA's distance program and I'm very satisfied. At first I was skeptical because there were no in-person sessions. I thought I'd miss the exchange. My experience showed that I got a super-fast answer to every question. I can only recommend the training, and I'd do it the same way again myself.
Review of my program
- Informative continuing education - Easy to integrate into the workday - Competent contact people
Doesn't get better!
I felt well advised and supported both during and now after my program. TOP preparation for practical work with children!
Highly recommended
I think this program is top-notch. The books are well written and easy to understand. When you have questions, you can quickly reach someone. But what I find best is how practice-focused this program is — perfect for actually being able to work afterwards.
An excellent program
I completed the program two years ago and felt perfectly prepared for the work from the very first child I worked with. You learn everything in theory so well that it can be transferred to practice without difficulty.
Dyslexia training
The program is very thorough. Sometimes a bit too drawn out, since repeated explanations can become time-consuming. Both during and after the program, the collaboration with the ADA was excellent — friendly and helpful. As a recommendation for the future, a tailored dyslexia teaching program with specific worksheets for teens 14+ and adults would be desirable.
Dyscalculia trainer
For me the program was very helpful — through it I could and can help many of my students because I understand the way they perceive better. It was also designed so that I could manage it alongside my daily work.
Dyscalculia trainer program
The support and the materials were simply great. All the tasks are very clear and you refresh your knowledge along the way. I completed the program alongside my work as a special-education specialist. It was a stressful time, but it was worth it for me. I can now support my students at a special school much more effectively.
Dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer certification
The training is thorough, the materials are well structured. Submitting the practical work was straightforward. Feedback came very quickly.
A very good, well-organized program
I felt very well supported, the materials are easy to understand, the course of study was very transparent for me, good working tools, someone was always reachable — all in all very satisfied.
Top program
The study materials are very well prepared and easy to understand. If questions come up, you can turn to your personal study assistant. The program is accompanied by lots of practical materials and examples. Because it's an open method, you can try additional methods at any time. Since I work with teenagers, the program has helped me a lot to understand them better and to support them with spelling exercises. I can recommend the program 100%.
Review of the ADA's program
The structure of the program is well laid out. The study material is very understandable and, above all, very comprehensive. My questions were answered quickly. The ADA offers an individual concept that lets you study at your own rhythm, so you can really learn at your own pace. I'd do this program again any time, and I can recommend it to anyone interested.
Program review
I can only say thank you for the great collaboration. Everything worked out wonderfully and I'd absolutely recommend it. Thank you. Best regards, Marina Neudorfer-Brandner
Just right for me!
The distance format had the advantage that I could schedule my learning time individually, which I really appreciated as a working professional. I also found the content of the program very good!
