This is how learning is fun
I got my diploma as a dyscalculia and dyslexia trainer here. I was super supported at all times, follow-up questions are answered quickly. You are helped with every question. I would do it again any time and can only recommend it.
Dyslexia and dyscalculia certificate program
The materials are well prepared, and if you need help, you can send an inquiry at any time and receive a well-founded response quickly. I have already completed the diploma as a certified dyslexia trainer; for completion as a certified dyscalculia trainer, I still need the practice (but I'm working on it). I feel well 'looked after.'
Review of the certificate program
The certificate program is wonderfully organized. The materials are well and understandably prepared. The website is clear and easy to navigate. If you do have questions, you can call or email ADA at any time. The staff are very dedicated and friendly.
Valuable certification for teachers
Teachers still know far too little about dyslexia and dyscalculia. ADA provides the remedy here. In these certificate programs I learned so much on these topics that in everyday teacher life I can support and promote my students well, both in one-on-one lessons and in the classroom. I have acquired foundational knowledge that I can repeatedly successfully pass on to colleagues and parents, and that is received with a big 'aha moment.'
Great certification
Great concept. Material is well structured and also contains many practical hints on how to best implement it. If help is needed, there are always solutions. It is a great program.
Super certificate program
What stands out about this certificate for me is the support. All my questions were answered quickly and competently. Despite being a certificate program, I felt like part of a team because there was always a contact person. The content of the program is very well and understandably prepared. Of course it requires certain prior knowledge, but that is also an admission criterion. The scripts are easy to read, yet convey a great deal of information. Particularly likable for me is the open, understanding, and scientific approach to the topic of dyslexia/dyscalculia. There is no strict direction being pushed, but rather a very needs-oriented and client-centered approach is conveyed. The person affected is at the center and should receive optimized training for them. That also absolutely corresponds to my principles and my work as a dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer! I can absolutely recommend the program!!
Very good certificate program!
It was a very well-organized and structured certificate program. The modules were understandably written and very good in content. No questions remained open. The exam questions were understandably formulated and you were well prepared for the practical part. If there were actually questions about individual modules or in the practical part, you always received help via chat or email. The staff was always very nice and helpful. Through the various and very comprehensive tasks in the practical part, you were very well prepared for practical work. I can highly recommend this certificate program because you could schedule your learning time yourself. However, the time investment should not be underestimated.
Dyslexia trainer certificate
I rate the certificate as VERY GOOD. The materials were very easy to understand, both for working through the content and for the practical part. It is very well explained how the practical part should be structured and documented. I can recommend it.
A wonderful training
I chose this training during the pandemic times. The opportunity to schedule my time freely, study on my own PC, and take exams when it suited me, was very accommodating. As a working mother of 3 children, I was thus able to reach my goal quickly. For questions, I always received quick and very competent information. I always felt well supported. With good preparation and a lot of self-confidence, I went into practical work, and I would do this training again at any time. Highly recommended!
Highly recommended!
I completed both the dyslexia studies and the advanced studies in dyscalculia. It was a very good experience. The material was good and understandable. For questions I always received an answer immediately. I can also only encourage anyone considering an advanced program to go for it. I initially didn't really want to, because I was so glad to be finally finished. But now I'm glad I decided to do it. It went much easier and better than I thought, which is certainly because I was already familiar with the structures of the program. People with dyslexia and dyscalculia deserve to have professionals they can turn to! In our region I am now the only one far and wide, which is far too few... So there is a great need. Anyone who has a heart for this work, please take heart and tackle the program ;-).
open, transparent, logically structured training
I had good experiences with the distance learning program. The institute is competent, very friendly, with fast feedback whenever questions come up. I completed both the dyscalculia and dyslexia trainings. In my work as a trainer, the content I learned really helps me, and the materials are excellent to come back to again and again. The individual approach with clients is, in my experience, exactly right. Group training isn't my preferred format. The program is very practice-oriented, meaning even after finishing you can still draw on tests, forms, worksheets, etc. I felt very well taken care of, and I still do as a member!
A good cause and a meaningful program
I'm so glad I get to serve such a good cause and our children! This training was the best and most meaningful of all my long years of school and study. Thank you for that too.
On the new promotion of dyslexia trainers
I think it's a fantastic idea. You can get so much information about a trainer without having to constantly switch between the trainer list and individual homepages. Over the past few years I've noticed that parents and teachers alike Google dyslexia trainers, especially the ADA list. If there's no info, people just scroll on and pick whoever shares the most. We do it the same way, don't we? www.legasthenietrainer.com
Thanks once again
Thank you for offering a program like this and for letting me complete it from Germany. After my translator studies and my training as a language support specialist, this is now my third certification. I can only give you all the highest praise. I have never taken such a hands-on, practice-oriented course before. It's been absolutely horizon-expanding for me too! I'm already looking forward to the time ahead and to the work both during and after the program.
Informative and helpful further training
The materials are very informative and presented in an interesting way. The self-study is absolutely manageable. The exam questions are tricky at times — you really have to study carefully and think for yourself! I especially like that this is an open method and that other proven materials can be incorporated. I got exactly the additional information I was looking for and needed for my work with students.
The training is so wonderful
The program is so wonderful it deserves 10 stars. The literature is also at a very high level. I was able to acquire so much theoretical expertise in a short time that I'm genuinely looking forward to the practical work.
Distance learning review
I'm very satisfied with the certification. I originally enrolled in dyslexia as my main study and then chose learning didactics as a follow-up. At the end of those two programs I decided to add dyscalculia as well. The materials are wonderfully organized. The required reading fits perfectly alongside them. If questions come up, you can always contact ADA (by phone, chat, or email) and get support. The community is helpful too! You're not on your own. A distance program isn't lonely — you just have to want it and figure out what you expect from it and what you'll make of it! Bruce Lee once said: "A teacher can show you the way, but you have to walk it yourself!" The feeling I have right now, having just passed the diploma, is indescribable!
Dyslexia distance learning
I learned a lot and was optimally prepared for the work of a dyslexia trainer. My questions were always answered quickly. I got along well with the materials. I can only highly recommend this course. There are hardly any services for dyslexic people here in our rural region. Anyone who gets involved in this field will have plenty of demand and can open up perspectives for those affected that they otherwise wouldn't have. After finishing I started the follow-up program to become a dyscalculia trainer. That should tell you the experience was good!
good training for a good cause
Great support, quick feedback on open questions. The learning materials are well structured and easy to understand.
Recommended as a part-time qualification with international recognition
Easy to manage from home, even under pandemic conditions, lots of creative freedom in practice, handy materials that are easy to work through — a well-rounded package!
