Thanks for this "freedom to study"
Doing a program alongside a job and a family is something that should be carefully considered and tested first. Despite the workload and the actual study period, there was enough room for me to dedicate myself to theory and practice. Good (self-)organization even leaves time for free time and recovery. Despite many personal setbacks that forced me to extend my study period multiple times, I never regretted starting this and "having to" stick with it. Aside from the time, which became immeasurable, I received valuable input through the portal, always found my way back into the topic quickly, and was able to complete all assignments with very pleasing results. It was extremely important for me to be able to schedule everything myself — and the dyslexia trainer certification gave me exactly that. After finishing, I got another irresistible offer to become a dyscalculia trainer. After a short hesitation, I added that straight away. The experiences were just as positive as the program before. I can only recommend this training and encourage anyone who's (still) hesitating. The materials, portals, and support options are extensive and barely need any expansion. Everything fits here. Many THANKS for that!
Very well prepared
The study materials are very well prepared and make learning a pleasure. Rounded out by the internships you complete during the program, you quickly get into practice and are well prepared for independent learning and working. The extensive continuing education offerings constantly expand your knowledge and greatly enrich the work. The wealth of materials available to students and graduates speaks for itself, too. I would do this program again in a heartbeat and I'm happy to be able to help people with dyslexia and learning difficulties.
A wonderful enrichment of my work
I admittedly took a bit longer for personal reasons, but every month was worth it. Since the program I've been teaching all my students as a better version of myself, so all my students benefit from my studies, not just the dyscalculia ones. I had a real fear of doing something wrong or not handling the diagnostics well. But that fear dissolved with the very first assessment during the program, since you get an enormous amount of help through the system and through everyone working at ADA — whether customer center, technical support, or other contacts. You're supported in every respect. Now, as a trainer, I've completed my first major assessment, worked together with the family and the school, and the child as well as the parents are doing much better and are happy. So am I. Once again, thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to study and help children with dyscalculia.
Distance course "Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Trainer"
I started and completed my distance course in 2021. I was thoroughly and consistently satisfied with the service. Both the study material and the resources for support work are very good, insightful, and above all helpful and effective. My questions were answered competently right away or within a short time. I always felt well looked after. The closed Facebook group was also very helpful with its very diverse contributions, as was the professional conference. I can really recommend this distance course to anyone wanting to engage with this topic. It has expanded my horizons enormously.
Thank you so much!
I'm very happy to have completed the course and would like to take this opportunity to thank you. The program you offer is truly unique! I have at least 4 reasons to say THANK YOU, namely for: Friendly and very attentive staff who quickly answer every question; Clearly structured content; The relaxed/pressure-free timeline; And being very accommodating financially! Wishing you and your team all the best!
Dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer
I completed both distance programs in quick succession. The learning, diagnostic, and therapy materials were excellent, clear, and well organized, as were the instructions for completing them. I had a few questions by email along the way, which were answered quickly and thoroughly. I'd also like to mention as very positive that if you run into financial trouble, you meet very understanding staff and they make everything possible. Because of Covid I lost my job, and my boss, who had originally wanted to finance the program, stopped after the second installment of 78.00 €. I wasn't charged any reminder fees, even though I hadn't paid for a while, because I didn't know about the cancelled payment and my boss wanted to rehire me. So I can only report positive experiences. Many thanks for that. Unfortunately, here in Saxony we have some problems with recognition for accommodations, even though dyslexia has been officially recognized for years.
Heartfelt thanks
I'd like to thank you most sincerely for the excellent support and guidance during my distance program! Whenever I had questions, your competent staff could always help me out promptly, and I always felt very well advised, supported, and looked after. I think this needs to be said and appreciated! Thank you for all your effort, all the best for the future, warm regards.
Review of dyslexia trainer certification
The four modules build on each other and are easy to work through. I gained comprehensive knowledge of the topics. The practical part you have to complete is easy to implement because all the necessary content is explained thoroughly. Support is always available when needed. I work at a primary school and regularly test children. The knowledge I gained accompanies me every day. I was and am very glad to have gone down this path :)

ADA distance learning
Excellent course! Perfect organization, great content with practical relevance, super materials, and an outstanding addition to my pedagogical work. Thanks so much!
ADA dyslexia program
I find ADA/the dyslexia program excellent and would like to say a heartfelt thank you.
Dyscalculia trainer
I'm very pleased with how my program went. Smooth, transparent, high quality. My diploma is worth a lot and is recognized by employers. Great.
Conference
I could only join in a bit late (had my Covid vaccination that morning), but I'm so grateful that besides AFS there are many other diagnostic tools I hadn't been aware of. Many, many thanks for the great info and your dedication despite the heat! Warm regards, Elke Driftmeier
Great program
I'm very happy with the program. I could learn everything in peace from home and submit it. Online I was always informed about my progress. I got thorough materials and it was clear and transparent to work with. Now I'm integrated into the school and lots of children benefit from it. I'm proud to be a dyscalculia trainer. Warm regards, Larissa Lezin
Dyslexia and learning didactics
A very solid supplement to my comprehensive pedagogical background and a very well-organized, professionally created distance program with interesting topics, especially designed for practical use. The framework — advice, guidance, info, digital options, and so on — is also excellent. I work closely with primary schools on learning support with children from socially disadvantaged areas, and I often work with kids who have dyslexia or LRS and need didactic guidance and support. I can put a lot of the content and your practical and digital resources to good use in my work. Thanks again! Keep it up!
Dyslexia trainer and dyscalculia trainer certification
I was very satisfied with the course. It is well organized and well structured. Theory and practice are well connected. I appreciated being able to extend it. That way you can complete the program even with a full-time job and a family without time pressure. I was able to acquire a lot of new knowledge and apply it regularly in practice.
Great training offerings, helpful materials
As a German and English teacher I have been running LRS support courses for over 6 years. Thanks to the program I have the necessary tools to advise and support parents and children and to encourage them so much! Many colleagues who, just 6 years ago, used to say things like: "The child can't read or write at all. What can you do? It's a matter of intelligence...!" ...would never say that today! So I've offered many training days for colleagues in the interest of children with LRS and conducted many counseling conversations. I've also explained the legal framework in teacher conferences and discussed the support options at school along with their possibilities and limits. Your distance program is excellently organized! I'm still trying to motivate someone to complete the dyscalculia course. There's great need here too, but unfortunately there are no formal accommodations for it. Still, pedagogically and didactically we can do a lot in this area too. Supporting students with LRS has become a heartfelt mission for me, and thanks to your program and the support of my principal I've been able to make a real difference! My colleagues are also grateful that this area is being taken so seriously!!! Nobody would call a dyslexic child "cognitively weak" anymore!! And every child with a spelling or learning difficulty is taken seriously with their problem! Unfortunately we need even more teaching staff to meet everyone's needs! But we're sticking with it and constantly trying to optimize our work! I find the continuing education offerings very helpful! Especially on the topic of "reading fluency"! The fact that basic skills are often missing when students enter secondary school — that over 40 percent (and rising) cannot read fluently or still wobble at the alphabetic stage — forces us to take special measures! Because of the pandemic we'll face a major challenge again in the coming school year! I'd really like to organize parent workshops and lectures on the topic in the future so that parents get more support. Sadly, financial resources for outside-of-school expert tutoring are often missing! In this the many materials in the shop, the training offerings, and the wonderful games children can play online for free really support me. For English I'd love more free online games, since from grade 7 onwards English is the much bigger problem for dyslexic children! I could go into many more details, but I think I've made clear how grateful I am for the course, because it lets me help so many children, teens, parents, and colleagues! Warm regards, K. Jura
Top distance learning
I'm a special education teacher and I completed the dyslexia program and the follow-up dyscalculia program. The support and guidance were excellent. Whenever questions came up during the program, the chat always gave fast help. I really enjoyed it. The content has enriched my professional life too.
Good self-study program
Good program, especially during Covid for learning online and from home. Contact was always smooth and a reply came within a few hours. All materials are extensive, the modules are available for download and are additionally sent by post. The subscription package includes many other useful games as well as various trainings and other extras.
Comprehensive and informative
This distance learning program fits our times beautifully. Not only because of Covid restrictions, but especially because of how easy it is to combine with work and family. The modules are very clearly designed and the timeframe is very realistic. The fact that you can start practical work halfway through the program helps enormously with later career orientation. With the children I worked with during the program I already saw clear improvements. I can wholeheartedly recommend this course.
