4 sensible theory parts and 20 hours of practice plus documentation: after the basic course you can dive straight into work or continue what you're already doing; great support and quick answers to questions; appealing customer center; cooperation with a reliable stamp company; option to promote yourself online with personal details... I would recommend the basic course as a certified dyslexia trainer to anyone who, after a too-theoretical university degree, wants to work outside the academic world.
Very valuable training
13 years ago I started this extremely valuable course because of my oldest son's difficulties with reading, writing, and math. For 10 years now I've been working self-employed in this rare and valuable profession and have been able to positively influence many lives of all ages, helping desperate children, parents, and adults look toward the future just a little more happily. This specialized, pedagogically valuable training fills an important role that mainstream school can't, and helps a great many people grasp reading, writing, and math in a way that's easier for them to follow. My youngest student was 5 (since signs can already appear in preschool) and my oldest was 63. She diligently trained with me for a year and is still very grateful for it today. I live and love my profession with all my heart and I thank ADA for this incredibly valuable program!
Dyslexia trainer distance course
A distance course with ADA as a dyslexia trainer is optimal preparation for working with dyslexic people. The study materials are well structured and build on each other; when questions come up you receive prompt information by email. Exchange between students happens via a Facebook group. The flexible scheduling means everyone can learn and work at their own pace. This course is absolutely recommended.

I was very pleased with the certification as certified dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer, both with the email support and the website. For me everything was very transparent and clearly built up, and very pleasant to complete the training from home, on my own and very flexibly. It's a shame that no conference was possible this year because of Covid, but that will come back too. I can only recommend this training!
Distance course for dyslexia trainer
I'd like to give big praise! The materials and information through the customer center are presented so professionally and clearly that you can work through theory and practice independently. At the same time you never feel alone in your studies, because you have everything you need and I really enjoyed it. Really well-founded
I've been working with dyslexic students for 20 years — two of my own children were affected too. Since there wasn't a proper training available back then, I cobbled my knowledge together from countless courses and books. Now I also have a proper diploma to publicly document my expertise in this field. The program teaches solid fundamentals, and even as an "old hand" I was still able to learn a thing or two. The openness of the method combines very well with various other approaches. The material for the distance course is clear and well structured. Questions were always answered quickly and thoroughly. Personally I would have liked at least 10 AFS tests so I could examine the application with subjects in smaller steps. For beginners with no prior experience I'd also recommend mandatory internships. The price-to-value ratio of the program is also very good.
good service, good seminar materials
The office's service is very good. Personal inquiries are answered promptly. They find arrangements that work well for all participants. The materials are specialized in content, but in their presentation they aren't always didactically optimal. Sometimes a systematic structure is missing, which makes the learning a little disjointed in places. Terms aren't always used consistently. The volume of material is perfectly chosen between enough information and being overloaded. Many practical tips are very useful for later training.
Top distance learning offering
ADA offers a top option here to further your pedagogical training in an accessible but professionally very competent way. The study materials are appealing, extensive, and above all very understandably structured; the exam requirements are also well described, so there are no surprises. Customer support is competent with fast response times — there was never any "course chaos" from missing online infrastructure due to the Covid situation (which I sadly experienced elsewhere); even here they responded quickly and competently with additional help (online guidance, fast online integration of chat and testing options). 5 stars — unfortunately I can't give more.

Long-term satisfaction
Over 10 years ago I completed the dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer certification. The study materials were very good. Since then I've been working as a trainer. The continuing education and the new developments over the past 10 years have always been inspiring and easy to use in daily work. I've never regretted my decision to take this course.
Hands-on and excellent
The course was a wonderful complement to my profession thanks to flexible scheduling (I could work whenever I had time) and the strong professional quality. The support and communication were excellent too. So I was able to start with my dyslexic son as my first "client" — he's now a teacher himself. That's my best reference. Thank you! At school it would be a clean A :-)

Supported just as I wished
I wanted further training but didn't want to travel far, and I wanted to keep working as a teacher. This training option matched my needs completely. I could schedule my time freely. The material was well compiled and logically presented. Answering the exam questions from home creates less pressure (ideal, e.g., for people with exam anxiety). The feedback was especially pleasant when, due to technical problems, I couldn't upload my completed assignments as a single file as required. I was guided in a friendly, kind way (and always very promptly), and my approach was flexibly accepted. I can truly recommend this training option. Heartfelt thanks!
