I received the diploma as a dyslexia trainer in 2018. I was very satisfied with the organization of the online course and the quick response to questions. I still happily use the AFS test and the exercise materials for sensory perceptions.
I felt very supported and was able to complete my studies quickly and successfully with the help of the very well-prepared study materials. The additional materials and numerous suggestions and games on the website also help a lot with planning support sessions.

This certificate program was very structured and interestingly built. Learning was a lot of fun and every area was very informative. It gives me a good approach for practice. It was a good decision to do the training at ADA! Even after completion, there's plenty of helpful support.
The dyslexia and dyscalculia program was pleasant for me — I could schedule my time flexibly. However, I do think that a university background is important: both independence and structure should already be mastered.
This training for dyslexia trainer is well constructed, explained, and embellished with many examples. For questions I always received immediate help and the school was always ready to help me with difficulties. The offerings for dyslexia trainers after the training are also varied and very understandable. From DVD explanations, lots of material for dyslexics, to business cards and customized letterheads — everything is there. This certificate is highly recommended.
I liked that I could schedule my time myself. Alongside a 39-hour job, that was the only way. In practice it was simple for me — without overexerting myself. The advanced program is somewhat more difficult since on top of the regular job came self-employed activity. But here too there was actually enough time to manage it well.
I can only report positive things about the program — from the consultation, to the materials, to the email correspondence with customer service. For me uncomplicated, for my work the new knowledge is a great enrichment!! ❤️

I completed my training as an elementary school teacher in 2020. There, the terms dyslexia/LRS and dyscalculia/math weakness were mostly used synonymously. Thanks to the continuing education at ADA, I now know that these terms should not be used synonymously! I became sensitized to various terminologies in the course of my studies at ADA. For questions, I could turn to ADA by email at any time. For practical questions, it helped me to request a phone call. I am very glad to have had this experience!

Unfortunately, the topic of dyslexia still finds little space in teacher training, and far too many teachers — myself included :( — demoralize affected children against better knowledge with comments like 'practice more' or 'unfortunately many mistakes again.'
