During my certification as a certified dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer with the ADA, I had exclusively positive experiences in every area. The online campus is clearly organized and offers, besides the usual services, numerous training games, worksheets, and links that can be used for practical work (especially with children). The four study modules and the required reading (consisting of eight books) prepare you well for the exams and offer plenty of inspiration and concrete suggestions for practice. Especially during the practical phase, the customer center is supportive and very friendly. For each exam candidate there is the option to generate a training book, which has gone over especially well with children and parents so far. To enable exchange between students and graduates, there is an online club where you can share experiences and ask questions. Graduates are offered a subscription, which I can especially recommend! Alongside web advertising, business cards, letterhead, logos, the AFS test, and much more, it offers numerous online continuing-education courses. By the end of the program I felt very well prepared for working with those affected, although as a speech therapist I already had experience in therapy settings. Today I benefit from the additional knowledge not only when working with dyslexic/dyscalculic people but also in my speech therapy sessions. In closing, I can only warmly recommend the program once again. :)
I felt well advised and accompanied throughout the program. It's a great advantage to be able to schedule the modules and the practical work yourself. There is one small point I would deepen a bit more: how to proceed with work in the symptom area.

Dear ADA team, the certification as a certified dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer deserves 5 stars! You can manage your time well at home and work independently. At the same time, contact and information exchange were always excellent. Information was sent to me reliably and quickly. The installment payment option is also worth mentioning, because it made the program affordable for me. The learning content was thorough and clearly explained in the modules. The course is very practice-oriented and can therefore be integrated very well into your own work. The practical part lets you have your first experiences with what you've learned and is time-intensive but very instructive. The diploma was sent promptly and reliably. I can only recommend this training.

For me (a primary-school teacher), engaging with the topic of dyscalculia was very interesting, since we naturally encounter it often at school. The topic was presented understandably and the study materials are well organized. The whole process, from registration to completion, was simple and uncomplicated.
The course combines theory and practice very well. You can schedule your time yourself and learn as much as you want. There are also always contacts available who help you with questions and problems.
I always felt very well supported! Whenever I had questions, I could communicate with the people in charge at any time! Really great and absolutely recommendable!

I would like to give great praise to the organization of the program — individual questions about administrative and technical matters were always handled promptly (and never without friendliness :-) ). I completed my course from China — here I received excellent support from the training center (materials were forwarded, support with English test evaluation, acceptance of clients from here being included in the final paper, …). Through engaging with the varied materials (scripts, website, and books), the topic was developed in a varied way. The option of membership also gives me, even after finishing the training, the possibility to deepen my knowledge and also the security of having someone to turn to with arising questions.
With the aids (books, modules, worksheets …) that the ADA puts in your hands, I felt well informed and accompanied throughout the course. When I had questions, I always received quick, good answers. Very nice. Thank you very much
Organizationally, everything always moved quickly, which was very practical. The layouts of the brochures for prospective students weren't very appealing to me, and I was hoping the actual study materials would be more agreeable — and they were, captivatingly beautiful and pleasant to read. The training is very clearly structured, it's easy to work on your own, and when you have to move into practice, the content you've learned can be applied in a straightforward way. It's wonderful to see how I can help children, how something really does change (feedback from the teachers). Thank you!

The dyslexia trainer course was simply structured, clearly organized, and easy to manage alongside a regular job. I chose the questionnaires and was very satisfied with my selection. The practical part felt a bit lacking, though. I did submit session documentation, but feedback on how I implemented the content was missing. I would have preferred submitting a few video sequences. Generally I was very satisfied with the course and can only recommend it.
