Excellent training
Extensive material; plenty of time to dive deep into the subject. No questions left open, and it's easy to put what you've learned into practice. Lots of continuing-education options. The program is a win for trainers and students alike!
Dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer certification
I decided in 2011 to start my trainer license through the distance program. An efficient course of study with a flexible timeline and flexible payment terms. Questions and ideas were always answered immediately and professionally. The individual modules are easy to work through with the recommended literature. My practical work was personally corrected by Dr. Kopp-Duller and returned with kind words and a certificate. I can recommend this program to anyone interested. You can build a solid second career as a certified dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer.
Program review
The great thing is that you can schedule your own time. That way you have enough time to fit in the practical sessions. You can also ask questions any time when something is unclear, and the responses come quickly and are workable. Since I have a regular job, not having to commute is a big plus. Excellent!
Great program
The well-thought-out materials and instructions make studying alongside your job perfectly doable.
Very informative program
I like the AFS method because it's so systematic and well structured. During the course I gained a lot of new knowledge about dyslexia.
Very satisfied
I can warmly recommend this program. I've been working as a self-employed dyslexia trainer for five years and have been able to support many children and parents. The training is also very helpful in my main role at a focus-area school and sharpens my eye during initial assessments. :)
A satisfied graduate
I successfully completed the dyslexia program and can apply the knowledge I gained through the ADA very well in my practical work — both with adult functional illiterates and with children affected by dyslexia or reading/spelling difficulties. I really appreciate that after the program, graduates are offered continuing education and active exchange. Information about new developments in the field is of course passed on. The whole package is comprehensive. At this point I want to say a heartfelt thank-you to everyone at the ADA. Keep up the great work! I wish you all a good and healthy 2017. Warm regards, Hannes
Highly recommended program
The certification as a certified dyslexia trainer was absolutely worth it for me, and I can only recommend it. The study materials are well structured, and the support during the course is uncomplicated, prompt, and competent. In my work as a speech therapist, I now have a broader view of the individual perceptual areas, can train more precisely, and have an excellent assessment tool in the AFS test that helps me distinguish when speech therapy is appropriate and when dyslexia training is. Because it's an open method that leaves room for individual judgment, it's — in my view — a genuinely fascinating and rewarding task to complete this course and then work as a dyslexia trainer.
Feedback
Well-prepared scripts and quick, thorough processing of the materials I submitted by the staff.
Outstanding support
I found the materials and the support on the homepage — as well as the help from all the staff — outstanding. I was able to do the whole program independently. It was a very pleasant path for me to take alongside my full-time job. I wish the association continued success.
Dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer program
The program is very hands-on, scores points with well-prepared materials, has support people available at all times for questions, and offers good job prospects after graduation.
All-round support
Throughout the program I felt well looked-after and well informed. On the one hand there was lots of written information, and on top of that I always got a friendly, individual answer to specific questions.
Uncomplicated and extremely helpful
The program ran refreshingly smoothly. The team was always there for questions and answers came very quickly. The texts in the required reading are easy to understand. For my daily work, the course was a real enrichment.
Learning from home
The program is very educational, and the necessary aids for the practical work are all there so you can put the theory into practice really well!
Program review
I really valued this program because I could use targeted material from the resources while also creating and using new, individualized worksheets. My clientele ranged broadly — from a one-year-old to a first-grader. With that range, designing the worksheets is crucial to spark interest.
Dyscalculia trainer program
This program — just like the dyslexia one — is in my opinion the best and best-supported. The study materials are clear and very well structured; questions get detailed, friendly answers by email right away; the price-to-value ratio is right; and the study window is very generous. Easy to recommend.
Review: dyslexia trainer program
I was very satisfied with the selection of specialist literature and the quick correction of the modules. I always had a contact person whenever I ran into problems — despite the long distance.
Top
I can only recommend it.
Perfect for me!
I completed the program a few years ago and was extremely satisfied with the content and with the support from the ADA. The professional and pedagogical content of the program was packaged just right for supporting the children in my professional and personal life. The service and support after completion are also very helpful, and I gladly make use of them. I can wholeheartedly recommend the certification as a dyslexia and dyscalculia trainer.
Review of the dyslexia/dyscalculia program
Dear Lega team, you get full stars from me. Every question was met with information material or supportive guidance. Whenever I needed customer service, I was helped immediately. No long waits. Communication is very friendly. The learning material is logically and clearly built, so you can start the actual training relatively confidently. Thank you for the great support.
