Very good materials, helpful and technically competent people available at any time, who are always trying to help, no matter what the problem is!
I'm very satisfied with the course. It's very informative and gives good insights into the life of a dyslexic person and how to help them. What was especially helpful for learning was that the modules repeated the most important topics.
I found the training just as great as the support afterwards. I already completed my training as a dyslexia & dyscalculia trainer in 2008/2009 and have been working according to this concept ever since, and I — like my "patients" — am very satisfied. Since it's an open concept, you have many ways to help those affected. Thanks for everything.
The course is suitable for anyone who can motivate themselves and has an interest in the topic. It's practice-oriented and the theory parts are written clearly. A great thing!!!
As a mom personally affected, I was looking for professional help for my son. So I decided to take the training myself. I can only say: brilliant. Well-structured study materials, help with questions answered immediately by phone or email, and the chat forum is also a great help, so you can connect and stay in touch with like-minded people. The course is very manageable alongside work and children without it leading to stress. Even after completion you're not left alone — starter tips, legal questions get answered. Overall, fantastic, hence 5 stars.

This distance course is a very good combination of theory and practice. You get a solid training and top-notch advice. The study materials are comprehensive and every year you get the new edition as a PDF. What's especially good about this course is that there are no in-person sessions, so you can plan your learning independently.
very good, understandable, and usable teaching materials.
The materials were very clearly organized and could be used wonderfully. Everything was clear and very well explained. For my few follow-up questions I received an answer immediately. The required reading is also very helpful and can be put to use right away in the practical work with the children. The AFS test and everything the subscription then offers are also helpful. I would recommend the training right away.
The study materials are very structured and working with them brought great joy. Because of the detailed descriptions, many things were clear at first glance and the topic very accessible. The course content is comprehensively described, and if you had questions about it, you could turn to the team at any time. For this I would like to give great praise for the support during the course, which was always very prompt and competent. At the professional conference the association offers once a year, there are always very interesting talks that greatly ease my work as a dyslexia trainer and also bring lots of new knowledge — and free of charge! You always meet many colleagues from different countries there and can make connections.
The materials are very informative and encourage further engagement with other materials. I was always able to schedule the time freely, so I could work on the side.
The study materials are clearly arranged and informative. The support was perfect. Recommendable!
An extensive training that helps many people make life with dyslexia easier. The further trainings are also very recommendable. The training is helpful, grounded, and can be applied to everyone affected.
I find the materials very well-grounded. You get a deep insight into the topic and lots of working material to take with you. I also found it very good that you can pace yourself through the study content. The course is therefore optimal to complete alongside a job or with a family. I'm especially enthusiastic about the AFS support approach. This is the only one I know that doesn't start purely symptom-specific.
The study materials are very well structured and clearly arranged; together with the recommended reading they form a very good reference work for theoretical and practical work. I also find the location-independent use of the educational computer test for the standardized assessment of dyslexia or LRS reading-spelling weakness very good. This testing procedure is only available to certified trainers! And of course the personal online customer center, where I always have all the necessary information at hand if questions come up. For other questions you have many options to turn to the team or to the study assistant (call, email, or quite modern the live help via chat …). You also continue to receive excellent support with questions about practice, even after you've graduated!
The everyday work routine can be combined very well with the course. The student determines their own pace under the given conditions. This form of study is therefore especially well suited for employees (also with an established family). The study texts are understandably prepared, and overall you're well prepared for the profession of "Certified Dyslexia Trainer." The support during the course is uncomplicated and competent. With questions, the student always has a contact person. Even after the course, follow-up programs are offered — you always have the option of continuing education. You are also kept current with new developments, findings, and various information on the topic. The graduate can use diverse offerings from the ADA to enrich their work in practice. I was very satisfied with the form of the program offered and also find the way graduates are treated to be excellent. I'd like to say thanks to everyone involved and keep it up — in service of dyslexic people!!!!!!
A great distance course that you can work through well alongside your job. I was very satisfied with it.
I'm very satisfied with the study materials and the course of the program. A very precise and detailed description of the requirements is explained step by step. My questions that came up during the course were always answered the same day. I felt excellently supported!
I really enjoyed not being under time pressure with concrete deadlines. Being able to do it when you really have time. In hindsight it's often somewhat hard to implement in practice. There's still a lot of experience and ideas missing for that …
I already completed my diploma as a dyslexia trainer with the ADA back in 2004. After 11 years I recognized the need to also take the course as a dyscalculia trainer. Because of my earlier good experiences, I again chose the ADA. For just €99 a year you get many practical resources online, are supported by the ADA at any time, and have the opportunity to take part in further trainings.
